yesterday was chinese new year. it's the year of the horse, which is my year of trial.
my partner came to pick me up from my place so we could go to a cny party; as they pulled up to my place, they caught me in the middle of taking out my trash. apparently, this is a no-go during the new year. strike #1. then, as we climb up to my unit, they commented on how my hair smells freshly washed. apparently, this is a no-go during the new year. strike #2. they're wearing a pretty red top, while i'm wearing all black like the emo-ass i am. apparently, this is a no-go during the new year. strike #3. they comment on my clean floors, which i appreciated since i did in fact just clean them. apparently, this is a no-go during the new year. strike #4. four strikes in one day. apparently, the presence of 4 is a no-go during the new year.
i'm so cooked this year, wish me luck.
at least i didn't cut my hair like i originally planned.
